How to Set Price List Defaults

Price Lists are pre-defined discounts or preferential pricing that can be assigned to a customer. The customer will automatically avail the benefits of the price list when making a purchase.

Step-by-step guide

1. Go to Defaults > Inventory > Price List.

2. Click on Add at the upper-right corner of the screen to add a new Price List.

3. Under Detail Settings, fill out the Description field. Check option Price or Cost. Set theDiscount Rate. If you allow loyalty points for price lists, check off Allow Loyalty Points option. Select a Membership from drop-down list if you want to restrict the price list for this membership holder only.

4. Click on Save to finish.

5. To add exceptions to a price list, select a price list to highlight it.

6. Click Add at the Exceptions area of the screen.

7. Select an item from your inventory, then click Select.

8. Select Exceptions by Inventory to apply an exception for the specific item. Change the price to reflect the difference from the price list. Click on Save to finish.
    
   

9. Select Exceptions by Department to apply exception to a department.
